“I hate to bring this up, but could you and Tom turn the music down on weekend nights?” Lisa said, looking down at her feet. “There was loud music and shouting coming from your yard last Sunday too. Look, I’ve kept quiet about it this whole time, but it’s almost been a year. The noise is really annoying.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stared at her, surprised. “But Lisa, Tom, and I were out of town on Sunday. We weren’t even here. We’re away almost every weekend.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa seemed puzzled. “Well, there was certainly a lot of noise coming from your house. I thought it was you. And it’s been very regular.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was shocking, so Tom and I decided to investigate. We didn’t want to upset our neighbors, and we certainly didn’t want anyone to think we were being inconsiderate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we installed a hidden camera overlooking the jacuzzi area. Then we went on a trip, leaving the house empty to see if anything unusual happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got back, we eagerly checked the recording. When we saw it, our eyes widened in amazement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tom, look!” I exclaimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing pictures of our neighbors, Jim and his family, relaxing in our jacuzzi made my blood boil. They were sipping and laughing like they owned the place. They even brought snacks and towels, as if they were at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Can you believe this?” I asked Tom, fuming. “How can they feel so entitled to use our property without permission?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom shook his head, equally annoyed. “This is unbelievable, Charlotte. We have to teach them a lesson.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to act immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom installed an automatic lock on the gate to prevent them from entering. I had another idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I added a special, harmless dye to the jacuzzi water that would react with her skin, turning it a light greenish color after prolonged exposure. It wouldn’t cause any harm, but it would certainly serve to prove something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
