Finally, he looked me in the eyes. “Are you really going to do this?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nodded. “I learned exactly what to expect when you not only asked me to leave, but expected me to stay in a seedy motel. You may think I’m worth no more than that, but I am.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
