We started searching every room, every bathroom, and every corner of the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike sighed heavily and covered his face with his hands. “On our wedding day…” he began, hesitating. “On our wedding day, your father approached me and told me he would give me a check for $80,000 if I left right then and never came back,” he finally admitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“WHAT?” I shouted, raising my voice in disbelief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
